Therapixel has always been a tech company turning silicon machines into solution to healthcare workers. In addition to the management of customers IT services, we also have our internal IT to maintain for our daily work. It goes from basic workstation management to complex CI/CD pipelines, software updates and hardware maintenance.

From the very beginning, the management of our information system has been the duty of everyone. But now, with the growing number of employee (and machines) it is time to scale out!

The Operations department is looking for a proactive and passionate administrator who wants to embrace this challenge and contribute to our Information System!

Join a dynamic and motivated team that monitor, manages, and ensure the reliability of the entire Information System of the company and its customers.

What you’ll do as our IT Sysadmin Administrator:

Maintain, ensure reliability, and scale the information system

  • Monitoring hardware infrastructure, software, and backups (onsite and offsite)
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery provisions, and perform testing of the procedures
  • Communicate with external service providers
  • Arrange penetration and security testing
  • Provide a planning of upcoming upgrade operations

Manage, schedule and accomplish operating task

  • Deploy new hardware or software
  • Maintenance of hardware infrastructure, software and backups (onsite and offsite)
  • Assist users with their PC / software issues
  • Incidents, anomalies and problems resolution

Information Management System

  • Perform activities and create the records and required by the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
  • Help the IS Manager document the infrastructure, network and other relevant information of the ISMS
  • Handle IS events and incidents in collaboration with the IS Manager

Lead risk analysis related to IS and bring expertise on other relevant risk analysis.

The ideal candidate will also be involved in project coordination and management.


It will be great if you had:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in a CS-related field
  • English and French spoken and written
  • 2-3 years of relevant system administration experience


Some essentials you need to have:

  • Strong domain knowledge in system administration: Windows, GNU/Linux, MacOS, DC, LDAP, RADIUS, NTP, NFS, SMB, Backup logging and monitoring solutions, GSuite
  • Strong domain knowledge in virtualization solution: VMware, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Strong domain knowledge in network administration: LACP, IP stack (DHCP, DNS, SNMP), VPN solutions, basic routing
  • Knowledge in Cloud provider: Microsoft Azure, OVH, Amazon Web Services, Scaleway
  • Knowledge with some vendors hardware and software: Dell, HPE, Unifi, Pfsense, Synology, Netgear, APC, Netapp, Purestorage
  • Knowledge in database management systems (eg: PostgreSQL)
  • Knowledge of the applicable laws and regulations regarding data protection:
    • ISO2700X standard suite: certification process, Annex A security controls and risk analysis
    • GDPR
    • Health Data Hosting
  • Good understanding of the necessary tools used by ML researcher and developers
  • Communication skills to take part in multiple company project
